This is base camp and home for my solo, trio, and jamming gigs with Woodgreen Slim (my brother) as well as a home for the Vintage Blues Band, Jesse Thomas’ Blues Chapter, Ukulele Dave and others. 

One of the UK’s best blues magazines devoted to mostly historical content. Published 10 times a a year, it covers the full blues and R&B spectrum from pre and post war blues, rhythm and blues, doo-wop vocal groups, vintage soul and gospel and the contemporary blues scene.

Also one of the best, a monthly subscription magazine reporting on the more contemporary blues scene, with emphasis on what's happening in the UK. Features include latest CD releases, live blues as it happens, and upcoming blues gigs

Quite a broad content both in mix of old and new and definition of blues. They also have a record label and distribution for contemporary artists. Has recently received the Keeping The Blues Alive Award from the Blues Foundation in Memphis.

Stefan Wirz is an ardent fan of the blues and has an unofficial Blue Goose Records site with detailed information about the label, including vinyl albums issued by myself and John Lewis.
